From Ebonheart to the Big Screen!

Lights, camera, Katniss!

We're delighted to celebrate a special accomplishment for one of Ebonheart Kennel's own!

Katniss appeared in the independent feature film "Jury of Her Peers," which premiered December 12, 2025, at Fleur Cinema in Des Moines, Iowa.

Katniss played the farmer's dog and appeared in several scenes throughout the production.

It's not every day that one of our dogs gets to become a movie star!

We're incredibly proud of Katniss and excited that audiences have the opportunity to see her on the big screen.
