Jocie Gives Hope: Jocianna Featured in CITYVIEW

Before Ebonheart Kennel became what it is today, there was Jocianna.

In February 2019, Des Moines CITYVIEW published a feature titled "Jocie Gives Hope," sharing part of Jocianna’s story and the difference she had made in my life.

Jocianna was so much more than my companion. She was the dog who inspired my journey into professional dog training and breeding, and through her, I discovered how meaningful it could be to help others build stronger relationships with their own dogs.

When the article was published, I shared how thrilled I was to have been interviewed and how grateful I felt for everything Jocianna had brought into my life. I called her a blessing and a miracle, and those words still describe how I feel about her.

Looking back, this article represents an important chapter in the history of Ebonheart Kennel. Long before the breeding program and business grew into what they are today, Jocianna was already helping shape the work that would become my life's passion.
